Patricia June Reiner

Patricia June Reiner, 69, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away February 16, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 24, 1947 in Englewood, Colorado to Harry and June Hawkins. Born and raised in Colorado, Patricia's career began and completed at the Colorado School of Mines, retiring 26 years later. She enjoyed the many challenges the educational institution provided for her and this is also where she met and married her husband, John. She loved and was dearly loved by her family, friends and co-workers. Her love of Colorado kept her close to the foothills and mountains where her passion for horses and pet companions made her thrive. The family cabin, camping and traveling were always very special to her. She relaxed with her hobbies including sewing, knitting and scrap booking. Patricia is survived by her Mother, June Hawkins; Husband, John V. Reiner; Children, Shawn Jewett, Jared Jewett and Stepchildren Melissa Staley and L J Reiner; and her Grandchild, Isaac Reiner. She was preceded in death by her Father Harry Hawkins and brother Paul Hawkins. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, February 25, 2017, at The Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial, CO. 80122. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Littleton, CO.
