Patricia Arline Ward

Patricia Ward passed away on January 30, 2025, in Lakewood, Colorado, at the age of 86. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 17, 1938, to Joseph and Elsie Klutsch. Pat leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Robert Ward; sons Kirk (Erica) and Glenn Ward; granddaughters Sophia and Ava Ward; nieces Diane and Tina Dunne; grandnephew Reeve Dunne (Kathleen). She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Klutsch; sister, Elsie "Uddie" Cronin.

Pat graduated from John Bartrum High School in Philadelphia in 1956. She was the artist who drew the mascot for the school.

She moved to Colorado in 1957 to live with her older brother. She met Robert Ward in February 1959, and they married in August of the same year.

Her first son, Kirk, was born in 1960 and her second son, Glenn, in 1965. She was the office manager at Widdico, Inc. for 15 years. Pat loved hosting friends and family at her house, and when her sons were growing up, their home became the neighborhood gathering place for the kids on the hill to come and play. She enjoyed skiing in the Colorado mountains and taking trips to Mexico in her husband's private plane. Pat was the proud grandmother of two girls with whom she shared her love of old movies.

Funeral Service Saturday, February 8, 2025, 12:00 pm, Horan and McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. There will be a viewing at 11:30 am, and a service at noon, followed by a reception.
