Patricia Lucille Wren, 81, passed away February 2, 2017. Pat was born in Perry, IA on October 6, 1935. She graduated as class (of 7) valedictorian from Yale High School in Yale, Iowa. She then went to Iowa State Teachers College where she met her husband of 58 years, Robert (Bob) P. Wren. Pat taught Elementary School in Des Moines, Iowa for many years. She is thought of as the ""Best Mom Ever"" by her 4 daughters. Pat was the love of Bob's life. Pat and Bob loved to be around their family and often traveled many miles to see Wrestling matches, Marching Band events, Special Olympic Competitions and many other activities that their grandchildren were involved in. They lived most of their married life in Des Moines Iowa near family and friends. Once they retired, they became snow birds and spent their winters in Gold Canyon near Phoenix Arizona. Mom loved the warmth and grew to dislike any cold. After Bob's death she moved to Colorado and became Grandma Pat to her great grandkids who loved to play with her. Memorial service will be Saturday, February 11th at 10:30AM at Saint John XXIII Catholic Church (1220 University Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80521) Pat is survived by daughters Vicki (Russ) Johnson of Fort Collins, CO, Debbie (John) Kladstrup of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeannie (Dave) Ivis of Parker, CO and Judy Wren of Gold Canyon, AZ; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her siblings Jerry Alborn and Joe Alborn.
