Patrick Kevin Crocker

July 27, 1957 — April 1, 2025

Patrick Kevin Crocker, 67, of Castle Pines, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on April 1, 2025, after playing a hockey game at the University of Denver.

Pat was born July 27, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Ronald and Carol Anne Crocker. From a young age, he excelled in soccer, baseball, and hockey, earning the nickname “Puma” from his teammates. He graduated from Mehlville High School in 1975 and continued his love of soccer and baseball at Maryville University, where he earned a B.S. in Communications with a minor in Philosophy. While there, he was recognized in 1977–78 as a Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

A loyal fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, Pat never said no to a game, especially with a cold beer or a good Irish whiskey in hand.

His love of music started with a record store job in high school and evolved into a 40-year career in the radio/media industry. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and part-owner of Local Radio Networks in Centennial, Colorado.

Later in life, Pat rekindled his passion for hockey, serving as captain of the Warthogs for 20 years and then joining the Green Goblins. And in his spare time, he enjoyed learning the art of real estate "flipping" houses.

Above all, Pat was devoted to his family as a husband and father. We will miss his sharp mind, dry wit, endless generosity, kind heart, and his love for cooking for others. Pat lives on in the memories of those meals, our beach vacations, hikes with his beloved dog Ellie, and the warmth he brought to every moment.

Pat was also a loyal friend, trusted mentor, business partner, teammate, and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Pat is survived by his wife, Teri; brother Christopher Crocker; sister-in-law Patti Crocker; children Tyson, Lauren, Courtney (Kellen), and Kristen; nephews Sean and Brian Crocker, and grandniece Lexi. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Carol Anne Crocker.

Pat’s passions—sports, music, family, and real estate—defined him, filling his heart with joy and leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed his path. His legacy is one of laughter, love, and memorable moments that will forever resonate in our lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Ice Ranch Hockey Rink in Littleton, Colorado, on April 21, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Pat’s memory to the DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation (www.dawgnation.org/donate) or via the GoFundMe page; https://gofund.me/815f0d9b.
