Patrick Allen Tribbett

Patrick Allen Tribbett, age 86, passed away on July 23rd 2023.  Pat was born on March 21, 1937 in Royal Center Indiana.  He was a graduate of Royal Centre High School.  He went on to join the AirForce where he served in the Aircraft Control and Warning radar sites.  He served in Alaska and met his wife, Genny, while serving in the Air Force.  He worked for 32 years for the FAA while living in California until his retirement in 1993.  In 1999 he and Genny moved to Colorado to be near his 6 grandchildren.

Pat was an amazingly generous person with both his time and donations.  He was a member of the local Kiwanis Club and volunteered many hours to each church he attended.  He served as Treasurer for his church in Atascadero for many years.

Pat was an accomplished athlete and enjoyed running, basketball, baseball, and bowling.  He was a sports enthusiast and was very knowledgeable of all the Denver sports teams.  He was also an avid reader.

Pat was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Genevieve Adair Jackson, his parents and 4 brothers; Clyde, Byron, Roy, and Paul.  Pat is survived by his sister Donna, and 3 children; Gregory, Jonathon, and Gay-Lynn and his 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of life services will take place Saturday June 15th, 2024 at Smoky Hill United Methodist Church in Aurora CO.  Service will start at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smoky Hill United Methodist Church in his memory.  (www.smokyhillumc.org)
