Paul Albert Brown passed away the morning of August 11th, 2017, with his sister and two dogs by his side. He was born April 27th, 1964, in New Mexico to Kenneth Frank and Myrle Jeanette Brown, becoming the youngest sibling to Glenn Richard Brown and Carol Lee Brown. Through his childhood, Paul moved from New Mexico to Arizona to Colorado, sparking a love of travel at a young age. He graduated from Bear Creek High School in Lakewood, CO as part of the class of 1982, and went on to receive a degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder in Environmental Design, graduating in 1986. Paul later went on to receive his Masters in Architectural Design from the University of Colorado-Denver. After graduating, Paul worked for various companies in Washington, San Diego, and Davis Partnership in Denver, focusing both on environmental design and architecture. However, Paul was much more than just his degrees and employment record. He enjoyed the outdoors; hiking, biking, skiing, and camping - not only in his long-term home state of Colorado, but around the world. Travelling remained one of his favorite activities, and Paul made footsteps around the globe - crisscrossing the United States and exploring places such as Italy, Australia, and New Zealand. Paul also loved music and could often be found at any live venue with his close circle of concert-going friends. He loved his garden and had a uniquely green thumb, growing vegetables to give to his friends and family, and flowers to brighten the mood - no matter how rainy the day was. Most importantly, Paul loved his family and friends like no other. He always spoke highly of everyone in his close social circle and remained positive, even when faced with the challenging circumstances that life threw at him. Paul leaves behind his sister Carol and her partner Sue, his canine companions Rufus and Ella, and their feline sister Cat. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and older brother. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Project Angel Heart in his memory. https://www.projectangelheart.org/donate/ We also ask you all to try and live by his favorite quote: âNo, youâre not going to live forever. Then again, nobody is. But you can live well for a long, long time. Each day is an awesome gift, yours for the taking. Seize it.â A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, August 19th. Please share memories and condolences in the Guestbook below.
