Paul Michael Childress

Paul Michael Childress, 46, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012 at his home in Centennial, Colorado. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on May 13, 1966 to Owen and Marie Childress. He was a fourth generation Arizonian. He attended Orangewood Elementary School and Washington High School, where he played football and ran track. He graduated from Colorado State University and was active in the Sigma Chi Fraternity. After moving back to Phoenix, he worked for Arizona Title Insurance Co. He returned to Colorado and was employed by Quantum Corp. in Centennial. Paul was preceded in death by his father Owen, and 2 brothers Steve and Kip. He is survived by his daughters Emily and Kimberly and their mother Meredith; mother Marie; sister-in-law Meta (Gordy) Berg and their children Matthew (Toni) Childress and their children Logan, Mazie and Mollie and by Lisa (David) Olguin and their children Annalicia, Antonio and Alec; sister-in-law Eva Childress and her children Martin and Kennedy; and uncle and aunt Aepli and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held in Centennial, Colorado on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10:00am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (one block west of South Holly Street) in Centennial, Colorado 80122. A Reception will follow at The Fairway Sports Grill, 4155 East County Line Road. A memorial will be held later in Phoenix. Paul was full of life, he loved his girls, he always stayed in touch with his high school friends and fraternity brothers. They all got together every time he visited Phoenix.
