Paul A. Daniluk, 94, peacefully past away September 22, 2015, in Denver, as he had wished, in the comfort of his own home. Paul was born January 25, 1921 in New York and raised in Brooklyn by his father, a proud American who first immigrated to this country from Russia in 1913. At the age of 20 Paul enlisted in the US Navy and honorably served his country during World War II, with lengthy assignments on both the USS Massachusetts and the USS Prairie. He was honorably discharged with war-related disability in August 1945. After service, Paul moved to Colorado to attend Denver University, graduating in 1950. In December 1945, Paul married Thelma Rainville of Lewiston, Maine. During the next several years Paul would develop and operate several businesses in the Denver area, including Danco Inc. and Colorado Manufacturing Corp. while he and Thelma raised their family of six sons and one daughter. Other accomplishments include: helping to create the original Denver Home Builders Association, and the largest rolling security screen doors in use in the 1960's. In the early 70's Paul moved his factory and family to Oklahoma where he designed the first solid state automatic brush car wash. He later retired to Colorado to be around the mountains. Paul is survived by his six sons: Joseph (Audrey), Peter (Patricia), and Richard (Cindy) of Denver, Co; Michael (LaVern), Thomas (Kathy) and Philip (Inza) of Oklahoma City, OK; and seven grandsons: Stephen, Kennith, David, Nicholas, Marc, Christopher and Alexander. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Agnes Daniluk, his wife Thelma, his daughter, Tanya and grandson John.
