Service information has been finalized and is updated below. Paul, 54, of Boulder, passed away after bravely battling a lengthy illness. He will be remembered for his boundless intelligence, generous hospitality, keen sense of humor, and love of family and friends. Professionally, Paul graduated from Christian Brothers High School, received his Bachelors in Business from Rhodes College in Memphis and MBA from the University of Memphis. Most recently, he was employed by Sage Hospitality Group as a Night Auditor and Manager in Boulder. Outside of work, Paul had a genuine passion for nature, astronomy, music, and literature. Paul is survived by his three children, Charlotte, Allison, and Elliott Felner of Franklin, TN; his brother, Jim (Sheryl) Felner of Clinton, OH; his sister, Patrice Felner (Paul) Phelps of Atlanta, GA; nieces, Molly Felner of Ypsilanti, MI, Caroline Felner of Cincinnati, OH; nephew, Christopher Phelps of Austin, TX; aunts, Catherine Brown of Lookout Mountain, GA, Beth Felner Duderstadt of Stone Mountain, GA; cousins, Steve Felner of Seattle, WA, Ellen Felner Buoyer of Richmond, VA, Louise Lochner of Alpharetta, GA, Elizabeth Moore of Atlanta, GA; previous wife, Georgia B. Felner of Franklin, TN; and numerous other family members and friends. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Lawwill Felner and Frances Girardeau Felner; uncle, Richard Felner; and niece, Emily Felner. A Memorial Service will be held on October 20, 2018 at 2:00PM at Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 211 Franklin Road, Lookout Mountain, Tennessee 37350.
