Paul Elvin Gorman, 65, of Centennial, passed away on May 26, 2011, while on vacation in Montana. He was born January 27, 1946, in Roundup, Montana, the fourth of five children born to Rusty (Basil) and Ethel Harriet Gorman (Alger). He grew up in Lewistown, Montana graduating Fergus County High School in 1964 and from Montana State University with a BS degree in Business/Accounting in 1969. He married Mary Rose Cosma in Cleveland, Ohio on October 21, 1972. After college, Paul worked as an auditor for the Dept. of Defense in Cleveland. He transferred to Denver to work as an accountant for the Air Force Accounting and Finance Center in 1973 (later renamed the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Denver). He retired as a systems accountant in January, 2003, after 34 years of service. Paul is survived by his wife Mary Rose and sons Brian Thomas and Jeremy Joseph; sister Sharon Hobble, Liberal, KS; brothers Lyle (Evelyn) Gorman, Lewistown, MT, and Dana (Sharon) Gorman, Independence, KS; sister-in-law Marge Gorman, Fraser, MI; uncle Max (Helen) Alger, Waynesboro, VA; aunt Hazel (Charley) Moore, Roundup, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother John Larry Gorman. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Food Bank of the Rockies.
