Paul was born on December 25, 1937 in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Carlos and Margaret (Denney) Keys. Paul was an outdoorsman, and very much enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors of Colorado hiking, fishing, biking, and camping. Professionally, Paul was an Electronics Engineer and specialized in photography. He was well known throughout Denver as the only person capable of repairing professional-grade photography equipment for many decades. Paul was a highly intelligent and a kind person, who can be linked to the nation's space program, and he even enjoyed teaching children to play chess in his spare time. Paul was a motorcycle enthusiast and loved being on two-wheels whenever time allowed. Paul Patrick Keys passed away on December 28, 2018 in Lakewood, Colorado.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Marylue; his daughters, Pamela and Paula (Benson); grandchildren, Charles (Krista), Scott (Crystal), Robert (David), Wesley, Christina, Benson Jr., Clayton (Ashley), and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Deilah, Bella, Natalie, Lucas, Hope, Crystalyn, Torenia; and great-great grandson, Syrius; and great-great grand daughter Ember . Paul is survived by his brothers, Robert (Diana) and Jon (Edie); nieces and nephews, Lorraine, Janice, Sue, Kevin, Glenn, Greg, Sean, John, Elaine, Penny, and Robin

Paul is preceded in death by his parents; his favorite Uncle Col. John Denney; his grandson, Connor; his brothers, Ray (Olive) and Denney (Helen); nephews, Denny Jr. and Gordon and his niece, Robyn.

A Graveside Service with United States Air Force Honors will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:15am at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Please assemble at Staging Area ""C"" at Fort Logan at approximately 11:00am.
