He loved all creatures great and small, He was an inspiration to us all. He was in the military, The Air Corps We began to understand him more and more. He owned a plane, Soon everyone around knew his name. He married Evelyn Kovalchik, Had seven children, That was when he knew that he was really livin'! His' kids grew up, went to college, There they got a lot of knowledge. But they never forgot their father dear, They visited him year by year. Soon he had two lovely grandkids, Laura and David to be exact. He taught them skills, They went skiing in the hills, Then another grandchild was born, He rejoiced this morn' noon and night. He and his wife, They never did fight, They loved each other dearly. They celebrated god yearly, They went to church, Then there was another birth. Paul rejoiced, He hoisted, The baby high. He said, "one day you are going to make me proud!" He said this high and loud. Then another grandkid came, Kyle was the name. Paul was joyous, He now had 5 grandchildren. The children came and sat by him, They listened to his stories, While their grandmother made sure they were not thin. Then... Just the other day, He passed away. We mourn him evermore. Go now Paul, be with the angels evermore. By Nick Land, Grandson
