Paul Constantine Mitchell, age 70, passed away peacefully in his home on September 25, 2022.
Paul was born on July 18, 1952 in Denver, Colorado. He lived in Denver and worked as a photographer and remodeler. Paul had a larger than life personality and was known for his quick wit and ability to tell stories. He loved to travel and meet people, and he always had a camera in his hand. He found beauty in unusual places and he appreciated the unique and the different. He always had a new idea and a new project. He had a generous heart and always went out of his way to help people.
Paul married his late wife Mary in 1981. He was a dedicated father and husband, and he devoted much of his time to his son, Constantine. Paul’s Greek Orthodox faith was important to him throughout his life and he loved spending time and helping at the church and monastery in Denver. He also enjoyed spending time with Constantine at the Wheatridge Recreation Center and he was very proud of the years he spent volunteering with the athletes in the Colorado Special Olympics Skiing Program.
Paul is survived by his mother, Marilyn Katsimitas, children, Stephanie, Constantine, and Christina [Laurent Gos], grandchildren, Marion and Emile Gos, and brothers, Jimmy Mitchell [and family], and George Mitchell [and family]. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and his father, Constantine.
