Paul Martin Springer, 78, of Westminster passed away on September 2, 2019 at Broomfield Skilled Nursing Center. Born on October 19, 1940 in Missouri, he was the son of George Henry and Nora Elizabeth (Wheelen) Springer. He married Mary Ellen Bergkamp on June 13, 1966 and together they shared 50 years of marriage until her passing in 2016.
Throughout his 78 years of life, he enjoyed camping, fishing, eating good food, road trips, photography, K-State, CSU-Pueblo and Bronco Football, Rockies Baseball, hanging with his grandkids and watching them play sports and participate in school activities. He was honored by General Electric after working for them for over 42 years as one of their top parts salesmen in Colorado.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Marsha A. Boyd and her husband, Bouie J. Boyd; his grandchildren, Kyla N. Boyd and Zachary P. Boyd and his wife, Kayla M. Boyd.
In addition to his wife, Mary, and his parents, he is preceded in death by his children, Nancy A. Springer-Bolden and Michael C. Springer and granddaughter, Hannah Springer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10:00 am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado 80003. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
His amazing fun-loving spirit will live on in his family's hearts forever. Miss you already, Pops!
