Paula Ann Cooper

Born August 22, 1953 to Gerard John and Henrietta Madeline Merdian of Boothwyn, PA died peacefully in her sleep on March 17, 2025. Paula to most, Mama Coop to many, and Mum-Mum to her most beloved, enjoyed spending her days gardening, crocheting, and working on puzzles. She was devoted to her grandchildren and spent her later years helping to raise them in both Colorado and New York State. Many a day she could be found working on Lego sets for the grandchildren to enjoy.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents Gerard & Henrietta Merdian, her brother Gerard “Butch” Merdian, her sisters Michelle Merdian & Margaret “Margie” Kappel, brother in law William “Neil” Miller, nephew William “Pete” Miller Jr, & niece Rachel Hess. Paula is survived by her sister Joan (Neil) Miller, brother Michael (Barbara) Merdian, son Christopher Cooper, daughter in law Jessica Cooper, and grandchildren Gabrielle Cooper, Jack Cooper, Elizabeth Cooper, & Benjamin Cooper as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
