Paula Tekoa Ott

Paula Tekoa (Lucero) Ott, 48, of Littleton, Colorado passed away on April 5th, 2025 at UC Health Highlands Ranch peacefully surrounded by family after a brief illness.

Paula was born in Englewood, Colorado on March 8, 1977 to Paul and Margaret Lucero.

She attended Sheridan and John F. Kennedy High Schools and began her college career at the University of Northern Colorado upon graduation from high school in 1995.

Paula held many positions throughout life, the most important being mother! Professionally, Paula enjoyed a lengthy career in mortgage banking and was most recently a Regional Closing Manager for Cross Country Mortgage.

Nothing brought Paula more joy than spending time with her family and friends, and her beloved pets Ash and Bandit too! Being a native she enjoyed spending time in the beautiful Colorado outdoors. Paula was an adventurous soul who loved to travel, be it a short trip to the mountains or exotic places abroad. Destinations that matched the vibrance found within her.

Paula is survived by her loving husband of 18 years William F. Ott, her children Bailey and Billy Ott, her Father Paul Lucero and her siblings Diane Abreu, Annette Martinez, Shannon Lucero, Mike Lucero, Paul (PT) Lucero and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Paula was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Lucero, and siblings Michelle Rae, Cynthia Pacheco, Bernadette Lovato, and Dominick Lucero.

A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 beginning at 10:30AM with the Funeral Mass to begin at 11:00AM both at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3290 West Milan Avenue, Sheridan, Colorado.
