In Loving Memory of Pauline Vigil Lopez
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of [Pauline Lopez], a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She departed from this world at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and service.
Born in Questa, New Mexico, Pauline dedicated her life to making a positive impact on the lives of those around her. She earned her college degree, a testament to her commitment to education and personal growth.
During the 1970s, Pauline was an ardent advocate for social justice and human rights. She volunteered tirelessly for farm workers, the disabled, along with local and state communities, championing their cause and working towards creating a better and fairer world for all.
As a mother of four, Pauline instilled in her children the values of kindness, empathy, and the importance of standing up for what is right. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support created a warm and loving home that will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to be a part of it.
In addition to her dedication to family, Pauline touched the lives of many through her selfless acts of kindness and community service with affiliations such as LULAC and the Governor’s Council for the Handicapped/Disabled only to name a few. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she helped and inspired.
Pauline is survived by her children, Richard,Mickey & Jackie,MaryAnn & Rick Katz, Rob, Fedelia, grandchildren, [Richard, Michael, Keenan, Amanda, Janese, Cieara, Emma] and numerous great grandchildren and extended family. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the indelible mark she left on her family and the world.
A memorial service to celebrate Pauline’s life will be announced at a later date.
