Payton Francis Tanner, Jr.

Payton Francis Tanner, Jr. passed away October 25, 2015 at the age of 78. He was born March 8, 1937 to Payton and Edith Tanner in Pleasantville, New Jersey. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Linda (Macchioni) Tanner; daughter Catherine (Tim Elkins) Tanner; grandchildren Paul (Beth) Longmore and Adam (Zoie) Longmore; great grandchildren Timothy Longmore, Jr., Aires Longmore and Madeline Van Roekel; mother Edith Tanner; siblings Walter (Florence) Tanner; Joyce Rentlinger, Cheryl (Michael) Fitzpatrick; granddaughter-in-law Kristan (Joe) Longmore Van Roekel; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandson Timothy Longmore, Sr; father Payton Tanner, Sr.; brother John Tanner; brother-in-law Paul Rentlinger. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 beginning at 10:00 in the morning at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 13120 East Kentucky Avenue in Aurora.
