Pearl Irene Nelson

Pearl Nelson, 91, of Green Bay, WI passed away Tuesday morning December 28, 2010. The daughter of the late Peter and Hilma (Sedergren) Johnson was born January 10, 1919 in Rush City, MN. She married Ernest Nelson on February 28, 1942 in St. Paul, MN. He preceded her in death on February 20, 1987. Pearl had resided in Colorado since 1946. She moved to Wisconsin in 2003. Pearl was a devoted active member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Denver and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Joyce (Thomas) Tucker, Jr. of Green Bay; granddaughter Lisa Tucker; brother Don (Rose) Johnson; daughter in law Debe Nelson. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son Robert F. Nelson. Funeral Service, Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery. Memorial donations to Messiah Lutheran Church, Denver, CO.
