Peg Dougherty

Peg Dougherty (Alcorn), 89, passed away on the morning of June 15, 2019, at home. She was born to Marguerite (Mahoney) and Edgar Alcorn on February 9, 1930 in Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Dougherty. Peg is survived by her children Mary (Steve) Gutting, Mollie (Richard) Miles, Dan (Cassie) Dougherty, Tim (Carrie) Dougherty, Peggy Dougherty, Kerry Dougherty, Terry Dougherty, Maureen (Bill) Brassil, Bridget Dougherty; her fifteen grandchildren; and her six great grandchildren.

Peg’s family will receive friends and family at a Visitation on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 beginning at 6:00 PM followed by the Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado.

A Funeral Mass honoring Peg’s life will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 9:30 AM, Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado. A Reception will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at the church. There will be a private family burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
