Peggy Lorraine Arnold

Peggy Lorraine Arnold of Centennial, Colorado passed away on August 30, 2012 at the age of 74 after a long illness (Polycythemia vera). Peggy was born on April 16th 1938 in Los Angeles, California to Russell and Dorothy (Yost) George. Peggy graduated from Pasadena High School. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Lowell Joseph Arnold, Jr. and their three children, Doug (LaVerne) of Rocklin, California, Dale (Patty) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Shelley (Trent) Zerr of Guangzhou, China. Peggy is also survived by her sister Dee (Bill) Neal of Corona, California, her sister-in-law, Audrey (Jack) Niday of Balboa Island, California, many nieces, nephews, cousins and her grandchildren; Alex, Ryan, Brad, Elizabeth, Zach, Zoe, Zabrina and Luke. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Sally George and Janet Fuess. Peggy was very devoted to her grandchildren and loved to spend time with them. She was always looking for opportunities to take them on exciting excursions and for creative projects to do with them. Peggy loved animals and was an avid horse rider in her youth. She also took in and cared for many stray and wayward cats over the years. Peggy was very grateful to all the caregivers, family and friends who cared for her and prayed for her during these past few difficult months. Her family, on behalf of Peggy and themselves, extend their sincere thanks. A Memorial Service and Committal Service will be held in July 2013 at Cherry Hills Community Church located at 3900 Grace Boulevard, Highlands Ranch, Colorado 80126.
