Peggy Lacina Born in Fort Worth, Texas on April 4, 1933 Died on November 26, 2007 in Littleton, CO. Memorial Service: Thursday, November 29 Reception: Thursday, November 29 Peggy Jean Lacina, 74, of Centennial, CO passed away on the morning of November 26, 2007. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Thursday, November 29 at 3:00 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Centennial. Internment will be on Friday, November 30, 2007 at Ft Logan National Cemetery Peggy leaves behind her husband of 52 years, Theodore (Ted) Lacina, and their three Children: Laura Endsley of Centennial, Teresa Johnson of Parker, and Thomas Lacina of Castle Rock. In addition, are Peggy's daughter-in-law Denice Lacina, son-in-law Don Endsley, and eight grandchildren: Kevin & Christopher Fox-Endsley, Colton, Kyle, Kristen & Kendal Johnson, Ted & Benjamin Lacina. She is also survived by her brother, George Ives and his wife Sondra, of Houston, TX. Peggy was born in Fort Worth, TX and was raised in Houston. As a young girl, she was very active in Girl Scouts. She was quite active in water skiing and later became a very avid golfer. She graduated from the University of Texas and was always a strong supporter of the Longhorns. She met Ted while he was in the Air Force, stationed in Texas. They married in 1955 and lived in Houston until moving to Colorado in late 1969. They moved to Colorado with three small children and lived in the same home ever since. Family was very important to Peggy and her children and their children became the center of her life. She now leaves behind her extended family and many friends and neighbors that she loved dearly. Contributioins to American Cancer Society.
