Peter Jacob Naffah, born April 5, 1986, passed away peacefully on December 20th surrounded by family and friends. He leaves his parents, Kathi and Roger Jensen; girlfriend, Casey Gunning; brothers, John (Knomia) and Robert (Sara); many aunts, uncles and cousins and more friends than we can count! His father, Gary, preceded him in death. Peter attended Cherry Creek High School and graduated in 2005. He worked as the salad master at the Larkburger on South Colorado Blvd. Peter loved children, especially his niece Alyson and nephews Rome and Silver. He worked for years at the Rise School of Denver. He was passionate about sports. Active in Special Olympics, CO, and Peter held his dream job working for the Denver University Hockey team. Peter loved people. He had a huge circle of friends and everyone he met became a new one. Peter traveled with the Wayfaring Band and attended Adams Camp every summer. Peter loved to learn and attended Higher Vision Education supported by Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association. He was proud of his independent life, living in his own apartment with his roommate, Robbie Roppolo for the past four years. Peter was a true original.
