Peter Romanchuk, 87, of Aurora, CO; survived by daughters Debra Comella (wife of Bob), of Aurora, CO, and Lynne Baalman of Highlands Ranch, CO; granddaughters Angela Garneau of Aurora, CO, and Crystal Aguila (wife of John), of Sunrise, Florida; great-grandson John Riley Aguila of Sunrise, FL; brother Raymond ""Mick"" Romanchuk (husband of Ty) and sister Julie Witham, both of Great Falls, Montana.
Peter grew up in Sand Coulee, Montana with seven brothers and sisters. After graduating from high school, Peter left home to join the Air Force. Early in his career, he married Millie Cooper and had two daughters. During his 20-year career as an Air Force officer, Peter visited many exotic locations and moved his family across the country every two or three years to new duty stations. Upon retirement, they settled in Aurora, Colorado, where Peter began a new 20-year career with the State of Colorado. Peter enjoyed spending time with friends and family, was the best armchair quarterback the Broncos ever had and was proud of the fact that he out drove his daughter on the golf course a week before his hospitalization. He cherished the time he spent with his family and will be greatly missed by all.
