Philip D. Shaffer

Philip D. Shaffer, 62, passed away on December 6, 2008 in Littleton, Colorado after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Phil was born on December 26, 1945 in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. His family later moved to the Denver area where Phil attended Englewood Hgh Sdchool. Phil loved music and spending time with Carol at the cabin they built in the mountains near Walden, Colorado. Phil was a kind and generous man who touched the hearts of many people. He is survived by Carol, his best friend and wife of 41 years; and siblings, Ramona Kamp, Glen Shaffer, Gail Shaffer, Judy Flinn, Doug Shaffer, Harry Shaffer, Margo Grismore, and Debora Shaffer, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service, Saturday, 10am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Rd. The family asks that no flowers be sent. Instead, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 2255 S.Onieda St., Denver, CO 80224.
