Philip “Pip” Stephen Thoma, age 41, passed away on February 11, 2021.
He was born on June 20, 1979 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but spent most of his childhood in Tampa, Florida and Broomfield, Colorado. He later left Colorado to start a family in Florida where he had his first son, Trevor, before moving to Virginia. Philip then returned to Colorado to be near his brother Steve and return to the state that he loved. Soon after, he had his son, Devin, in Thornton and then took a position at the Coors Brewery which led him to settle in Arvada.
Philip enjoyed spending his time with family, board game nights, and taking care of his dogs. He thrived at life and brought that energy everywhere he went. Those around him were always influenced by his charm, passion, and overall positive attitude.
Philip is survived by his sons, Trevor and Devin Thoma, who both reside in Colorado. He is also survived by his immediate family: Mother, Angela Cantrell; father, Stephen Thoma Sr., stepfather, Roger Cantrell, stepmother, Ramy Thoma; and his two brothers Stephen Thoma Jr. and Joseph Cantrell.
