Phyllis H. Tyng

Phyllis Kathleen Hilvert Tyng, born November 24, 1924. Predeceased by the love of her life and partner for 60 years, Charles Tyng. Loving mother to David (Jeanne) and Lisa (Eric Godwin-Austen), and proud and devoted grandmother to her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas and Katrina. Kathie loved life and learning and enthusiastically engaged in both through travel, the arts, history, entertaining, lively discussions and volunteering for various organizations such as the Milwaukee Art Museum and the Santa Fe Opera. Through good times and bad, her strength of character and deeply held beliefs inspired her to persevere and overcome. We will miss our mother and grandmother dearly, but we are comforted that she is at peace and reunited with her beloved. Private services will be held.
