Derin Carmack passed away August 5, 2009 at the age of 71, preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Lillian Carmack. Derin has touched the hearts and lives of many people in the almost 3 decades of his T.V./radio ministries, including his radio-talk show ""Derin LIVE! In Denver"" on KLTT 670. He was born in Durango, CO January 22, 1938. He attended Central College in McPherson, KS and graduated with a B.A. from Seattle Pacific University. He received his Masters Degree in education from the University of Northern Colorado. Derin is survived by his wife of 19 years, Barbara Wells Carmack; sister, Arlene Plog; brother, Wesley Carmack; sons Lance (Pam) Carmack, Monte (Debbie) Carmack; daughter, Starlyn St. Claire; stepdaughters, Kimberly (Matthew) Duell and Dayna Beckary; 12 grandchildren including Dustin (Katie) Dunphy; two great-grandchildren. Mark 10:27, which he proudly displayed on his license plate (MarkX27) was his favorite verse, ""With men it's impossible, but not with GOD for all things are possible with GOD"" which were the last words that he uttered before he went home to be with the Lord. He will be greatly missed by all those who learned the revelation lessons that he taught. Memorials may be made to Derin LIVE! in Denver, and Home of Refuge-Honduras at First Bank of Denver.
