Rachelle RayJean Deutschmann

May 11, 1977 — November 26, 2015

Rachelle RayJean Zich Deutschmann, 38, passed away on November 26, 2015 at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, CO. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on May 11, 1977, daughter to William Ray Zich and Patricia Jean Williams. As a young girl Rachelle had many interests one of which was her love of Art and another was her passion for Gymnastics. She excelled at both and was a medalist in gymnastics for her team and received outstanding recognitions for her art. After high school Rachelle went on to graduate from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins with her Bachelor's Degree. She later continued her education at University of Colorado Denver and graduated with her Master's Degree in Teaching. Rachelle taught, in the Cherry Creek school district, for 15 years at Peakview Elementary. She was passionate for the students she taught in first and second grades. Her passion for helping led her to become a reading interventionist for children K-3rd grade. She held a Master's in Curriculum and instruction with emphasis in early literacy skills and holds many credentials in elementary reading foundation. Rachelle was a great Teacher and a wonderful Mother. Survivors include her beloved Son Jack Austin Deutschmann and his Father Justin Deutschmann of Denver, CO; Grand-uncle Lanier Williams of Lewisville, NC; Grandfather Jack Zich of Omaha, NE; Grandmother Rosanne Barr of Lakewood, CO; Uncle Mark (Robin) Zich of Hickory, NC; Aunts Karen (Pat) Mueller of Omaha, NE and Shawn Barr of Lakewood, CO; many loving cousins and many cherished friends. She is predeceased by her grandparents Smith and Dorothy Williams, Grandfather Bill Barr, Grandmother Donna Zich, Uncle Bill Williams III, and her Aunt Shelly Barr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church on Saturday, December 5, 2:00pm. with a viewing from 1-2pm just prior to the service. Memorial contributions are welcome by going to www.youcaring.com and searching under Rachelle Deutschmann. Contributions received will go to an educational fund for her son Jack.
