Martha Radeen Thomas was born on February 2, 1953 in Topeka, Kansas and passed away on January 20, 2025 at Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, Colorado. Her parents were Robert and Martha Milliken. She was named after her mother but never liked her given name and so used her middle name. She had a wonderful childhood with her older brother Gene and her younger brother Larry.
Radeen met the love of her life, Pat Thomas, in Colorado Springs. She was enamored by his attractive baseball uniform and made it her mission to meet him. Apparently it worked as they were married May 12, 1984. To that union were born two children, Amanda (Mandi) and Spencer. To say that Pat and Radeen loved life to the fullest in the 1980’s would be an understatement.
Pat and Radeen joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and were sealed for time and all eternity on November 10, 1990. Radeen quickly gained a fast testimony of the Gospel which carried her through some of her most difficult days. She faced each new challenge with courage and determination. Her son Spencer served an honorable mission for the church and feeding the missionaries became one of her favorite pastimes, second only to her love of card-making.
Radeen is survived by her eternal companion Pat; son, Spencer; daughter, Mandi; two brothers, Gene and Larry; and last but definitely not least, by grandchildren, Nicole, McKenna, Kellan, Remington, Garrett, Rowan, Riley and Parker. She loved her grandchildren more than life itself. Her sweet grandson Riley predeceased her in 2020.
Please join us to Celebrate Radeen's life at 11:00am, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 20850 E. Mainstreet, Parker, CO 80138.
