Ralph A. Anselmo

Ralph A. Anselmo passed away peacefully on November 17, 2011. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dolores, adoring grandson Michael Gensch and his niece, Danna Webb. Ralph is survived his children David, Denise (David) Gensch, Cynthia (Douglas) Wax and John. He is cherished by his grandchildren Ryan, Eric and Jonathan Gensch, Lauren (Ricky) Casady, Lisa (Drew) Eddy, Andrew Wax and Dominic Anselmo. Ralph is the brother brother-in-law of Charlotte (Max) Abbott; nephew of Leonard, Annette and Doreen Piccolo; cousin of JoAnne Piccolo; and uncle of three nieces and nephews. A gentleman of remarkable integrity, courage and faith, he will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Ralph was born on July 27, 1923 in Denver to Grabil and Mary Anselmo. He graduated from North High School and attended Regis College, and he married the love of his life, Dolores Farinacci in 1951. Together they raised their family in Broomfield, lived in Arizona and eventually moved to Highlands Ranch. Ralph was known for his strong work ethic. He began a long and rewarding career, spanning 49 years with Graham Paper and Jim Walters Paper Company. Ralph was an icon of Colorado's printing industry. He was the founding president of The Rocky Mountain Printing House Craftsman Association and the past president of Rocky Mountain Printing Industries of America. A Visitation will be held Friday, November 25, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado. Recitation of the Rosary follows at 7:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 3549 Navajo Street, in Denver, Colorado. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 3549 Navajo Street, in Denver, Colorado. Graveside Service follows at 12:30 P.M., at Fairmount Cemetery, 430 South Quebec Street, in Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ralph's name to Shalom Hospice, 14800 East Belleview Drive, Aurora, Colorado 80015; or to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church Building Fund, 3549 Navajo Street, Denver, Colorado 80211.
