Ralph Edward Giardina of Denver passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 66. He was born on January 16th, 1955, in Denver, Colorado to Joseph and Mary Giardina.
Born and raised in Denver, Ralph graduated from John F. Kennedy High School where he then pursed his love of motorcycles and cars which lead him to a successful career in the elevator industry utilizing his impeccable people and mechanic skills. Beyond his career, Ralph’s biggest passion was cultivating loving relationships with both family and friends. He never missed a family function, and no one went without one of his celebratory birthday songs or voicemails. Ralph never had any children, but loved his nieces, nephews, and cousins as if they were his own. One of everyone’s favorite memories is of him playing a game called Pile on Punkos, in which the small kids would try to tackle him to the ground, only to be thrown into a giant heap on the floor. Ralph met Linda, his loving companion later in life, but spent many years making wonderful memories with her. Even up until his last day, Ralph’s dedication to her never wavered. Ralph was the type of person who you wanted in your corner. He was a loyal friend, willing to help those in need.
Ralph is survived by his loving companion Linda Johnson; sister, Koralee (Giardina) Donovan, her husband Dennis, and their children, Kayla and Joseph Donovan; his brother-in-law, Dick Jefferies, his daughter Lindsay (Jefferies) Shipton, her husband Bob, and their children Lennon and Brooks Shipton and his son Will Jefferies. Ralph is also survived by many extended family and friends and his dog Chico. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary (Burns) Giardina and his sister, Linda (Giardina) Jefferies.
