Ramona J. Power

Ramona J. Power, daughter of Marietta Walmsley of Scottsbluff, Nebraska died September 14, 2010 at Denver Hospice. She was 58. She was born August 12, 1952 to Lloyd and Marietta Walmsley in Norfolk, Nebraska. She graduated from Sidney High School in 1970. She married Ronald E. Power on September 18, 1971. Mrs. Power worked as a receptionist before her long hard fought battle with colon cancer. She loved to take care of her children, bake and travel. Surviving her is a son Jonathan and daughter Rona of Denver; her mother; three brothers Dean (Linda) Walmsley of Chappell, Nebraska, David (Helen) Walmsley of Douglas, Wyoming, and Dwain Walmsley of Denver, Colorado; a sister Alice Walmsley of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, father and grandparents. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2010, 3:00 pm at the North Platte Cemetery.
