Ramona Jean Taylor, 84, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on June 24, 2013. She was born in Huntington, West Virginia, graduated from the University of Virginia and served as a Registered Nurse in the U.S. Air Force Nurses Corp during the Korean War. Ramona lived a full and extraordinary life, loved to travel, loved tending her flowers and plants, and her cats were a very special part of her life. She had many different hobbies that she loved; sewing, knitting, cooking, baking, and many more. Ramona was such a caring person and always wanted to help others. During her time as a traveling nurse, she affected so many people's lives, taking them into her life and caring for them as family. She is survived by five children, Robert Edward Donnelly, Maureen Elise Donnelly, Gloria Eilene Donnelly, Mary Elizabeth Donnelly and Christine Doran Stout; and eight grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michael, Amanda, Geoffrey, Heather, David, Taylor and Nathan. Committal Service will take place on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver.
