Randall ""Randy"" J. Bruny

Randy Bruny, a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend died August 26, 2016 at age 57 after a courageous battle with cancer. Randy graduated from Colorado State University in 1981 and built a career in the IT industry, most recently working for SLS. Randy married Cheryl Routa in 2000 and they welcomed daughter Sydney in 2002. Randy loved his family life, including the pets that brought him joy. He enjoyed spending time in the mountains and following the Avs, Rockies and Broncos. Randy was a strong, gentle and handsome man. He had a kind word for everybody and brought courtesy and grace to all he touched, even in his final days. Randy will be missed and remembered by all who loved him including his wife Cheryl, daughter Sydney, mother Marilyn, siblings Greg, Tom, Steven, and Barbara, and extended family of nephews, nieces, and cousins, his Bruny and Routa family in-laws, and many friends. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Tom Bruny, in 1998. Services will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 6673 W. Chatfield Ave., Littleton, on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 10:30 AM.
