Randall Wade Loomis, 60, of Arvada, passed away on May 10, 2021 at Lutheran Medical Center due to complications resulting from COVID-19. Born on February 8, 1961 in Denver, Colorado, he is the son of Donald and LaVerda (Greeley) Loomis.
Randy was a lifelong resident of Arvada, attending Arvada West High School class of 1979. He went on to work in the construction industry for over 40 years contributing to the landscape of Arvada and the Colorado Front Range. He was an avid outdoorsman which led to many adventures; from camping throughout the Rockies, boating and fishing Standley Lake, to bird hunting on the eastern plains. For over a decade he coached his sons in sports and served on the Board of Directors of North Jefferson Junior Baseball, where he enriched the lives of many young athletes and families in the community.
Randy’s love of life and sense of humor was known by all and will be missed dearly.
Randy is survived by his parents, Don and LaVerda, his sons Jacob, Dustin and partner Kika, grandson Henry, brother Dave and Kerstene Loomis, nephews Dillon and Brody, and former wife Pamela Loomis, as well as numerous other family members.
Randy is preceded in death by his Grandparents Reed and Lela Loomis, and Wade and Lydia Greeley.
His remains will be laid to rest next to his uncle Ronald Loomis at Crown Hill Cemetery.
We thought of you with love today. But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday. And days before that too.
We think of you in silence. We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories. And your Picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake. With which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping. We have you in our heart…
Missing and loving you always and forever.
