Randy Vocke

Randy Eugene Vocke, age 62, passed away on October 6, 2021. He was born on February 14, 1959 to Willard and Mary Vocke in Lamar, Colorado. Shortly after, the family moved to Pueblo. Randy was a graduate of Pueblo County High School. He joined the Navy in 1977 and was a fire fighter. After being honorably discharged from the Navy in 1981, Randy moved to Canon City where he worked at the Colorado Department of Corrections until he retired in 2004. In 2006 he began working as a Federal Reserve Law Enforcement Officer. Randy was promoted to Corporal in 2009. He worked at the Federal Reserve Bank for 15 years. During this time, he received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Randy had a passion for law enforcement and loved working at the Federal Reserve Bank.

Randy had a talent for drawing. His favorite subjects were horses, cowboys, and rodeos. In his youth, he was involved in Pueblo County 4-H and FFA programs, as well as the National Little Britches Rodeo Association. He was an amateur bull rider and competed in rodeos across the western United States. Randy loved horses, spicy foods, John Wayne, and George Strait. He is survived by his daughter Kathryn (Anthony DiTucci) Vocke of Park Rapids, Minnesota, and his sisters Kathy (Joe) Hale of Fowler, Colorado and Ronda (Steve LeValley) Vocke of Fort Collins, Colorado and nieces Crystal (Calvin) Roe, Rochelle Infante, Rachael Infante, and Shawna Potter. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Funeral services will take place at the Presbyterian Church in Broomfield, Colorado on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 11 a.m. Burial services will follow at 2pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
