Ray Hodson

Ray, 87, is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mildred; children, Joyce (Randy) Wolfe, Dottie (Mark) Oman, Gary Hodson, Lora Hodson and Lenn (Heather) Hodson; grandchildren Sherry (Winston) Rast, Tim (Debbie) Wolfe, Heidi Wolfe, Evan (Madison) Wolfe; Lisa (Lonnie) Quiring, Heather (Patrick) Henricks, Renee (Monty) Phillips, Adam (Clara) Oman, Samantha and Sophia Hodson; great grandchildren Luke and Landon Rast, Mason and Clara Wolfe, Jaxson Wolfe, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Brittany, and Lauren Quiring, and Marky, Maddie, Meredith, and Michael Henricks. Preceded in death by his son, Lyle. A veteran of WWII, Ray served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Enterprise. He became a public school teacher teaching music, both vocal and instrumental, K thru 12. He was an active member of South Suburban Christian Church, VFW, Masons, Shrine and played in the VFW and Shrine bands. Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 beginning at 10:00 AM at South Suburban Christian Church, 7275 South Broadway, Littleton, Colorado. Committal Services with military honors will follow at 12:15 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area ""C"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado.
