Ray George Rood

Ray George Rood, 83, of Denver died on June 13, 2014. Ray lived a full life and had the opportunity to see the world with the US Marine Corps. He fought in the Korean Conflict and went on to further live his life and retired from the North Washington Fire Dept. Husband of Eleanor; Father of Ronald, Robert, Dana, Donna, and George; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and sisters, Doris and Sandy. His daughter, Carrie, preceded him in death. Funeral Mass will be held in Rays honor June 19th, 11AM at Assumption Catholic Church, 2361 East 78th Ave., Welby. Committal Mt. Olivet.
