On September 18, Raymond L. Buckley, 63, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family, while listening to the gentle sounds of the waterfall in his prized garden. Ray is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sheila, and six children, Susan Ganter (Wes), Pamela (TJ Rapoport), Linda (Jon Gottesfeld), Lee, Leslie Isham (Charlie), and Chrissey. He also had seven grandchildren, Eli, Ella, Ava, Sam, Finn, Jake, and Mae. Also survived by his brother, Dan, and sisters, Lois Buckley and Rosie Dines. A graduate of Regis High School and College, Ray was CEO of Buckley Powder Company, a family-owned business. He loved gardening and sports, and was an avid golfer. Services will be held Monday, Sept. 22 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Denver. The Rosary will be at 9:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM.
