Raymond C. Delisle

April 18, 1932 — November 25, 2016

Raymond (Ray) Delisle, age 84, of Centennial, CO passed away November 25, 2016. Ray was born in Paterson, New Jersey and served in the Army as an Armor Crewman Specialist from 1955 – 1957 in Germany and as a reservist until 1963. After his honorable discharge, he married Regina M. Birk and relocated to Colorado. Ray had a love for the beautiful outdoors and treasured the family cabin he built in the early 1960's in Silverthorne, CO. The cabin and the Rocky Mountains were a perfect setting for him to embrace his photography, skiing, hiking, and snowshoeing passions. Ray was also passionate about his work. He received his Juris Doctor degree from The University of Denver, College of Law in June 1965. He held positions at Forstmann Woolen Company, Florsheim, Inc., Martin Marietta, Samsonite International, Ihrig, Delisle & Associates, GeriMed of America, Inc. and lastly, Delisle Group, Inc. his private consulting business. He specialized in Human Resources and Labor Relations. Ray is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years Regina M. Delisle of Centennial, CO, son Raymond R. Delisle (Martha DeVelasco) of Tucson, AZ, daughter Susan M. (Delisle) Johnson (Tom) of Lone Tree, CO, brother Norman M. Delisle (Arlene) of Beverly Hills, FL, grandchildren Taylor N. Johnson and Skylar A. Johnson of Lone Tree, CO, nephew James Delisle (Tamara) of Washington, IN and niece Mary (Delisle) Sumner (Darrell) of Ashford, AL. Ray also leaves numerous life-long friends and colleagues.
