Raymond William Fern

Raymond William Fern passed away on May 22, 2020 in Centennial, CO, due to complications of Parkinson’s Disease. Raymond was born on July 30, 1934 in Cleveland, OH, to Mary and Joseph Fern. He went to college to receive an associate degree and shortly after, joined the United States Army. Raymond spent his career working for the Standard Oil company, until his retirement in 1986. After retirement, he greatly enjoyed traveling the United States in an RV with his wife of 62 years, Joann Bridget Fern. Raymond was an avid custom woodworker and craftsman and an award-winning marksman. He was also a member of the Church of Risen Christ, the Knights of Columbus and the NRA.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Joann Bridget Fern; his children: Christopher Raymond Fern, Nancy Ann Fern, Betty Jane Canfield and Keith Thomas Fern and his grandchildren: Dillon Canfield, Alisha Adams and Trevor Fern.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Joseph Fern and his daughter, Mary Ellen Fern.
