Departed for his heaven reunion with family and friends. He left behind his wife, Evelyn (Suzie) Leeman Gross, a step-son, Larry Leeman, a son, Michael Gross, a daughter Linda Coughlin and four grandchildren; cousins, Jack Ehekircher and Barbara Mueller. Ray lived in South Denver all his life. He attended Asbury Elementary, Grant Jr. High and South High Schools. He was in the Navy, 1943-1946 in the Pacific on carriers Big 'E' and Bonham Richard as a Boatswains Mate. After the war he worked as a sales rep. for many Denver auto dealerships, his last one being Rickenbaugh Cadillac for his last 30 years before retirement in 1988. He then started his own business, Ray Gross Appraisal Service and got out his last one the week before his death. His son, Larry carries on for him. Ray was a member of the Denver Timing Assoc., Model 'A' Ford Club, Model 'A' Restorers Club, National Hot Rod Assoc. and V-8 Club. Ray's 80th Birthday Memorial will be Wednesday, August 11 at 12:30 pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 S.
