Raymond C. Gutkowski

Raymond C. Gutkowski was born in Hamtramck, MI, to Frances and Frank Gutkowski on March 28, 1936. Died December 3, 2018, of a sudden onset of cancer. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 54 years, and two sons; Tim and wife Stacy, and Mark and husband Marco; three grandchildren, Matt and wife Lauren, Mitchell and Brenton. He has three siblings, Leonard (Betty), Bob (Toni) and sister Monica (Bob Noch) in Michigan. Many nieces and nephews around the country. He has been blessed, for sure.

Served in the National Guard before going to technical school and entered into a job with Xerox when the 914 was the latest in printers. After 33 years he retired and drove for Denver Public Schools. Loved the Kids.

He enjoyed traveling and the company of friends and neighbors. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Donations to “Seeds of Hope,” at the Archdiocese of Denver would please him greatly. One of his best acquaintances was Sr. Lavonne, a Sister of Charity of Leavenworth Kansas, who started Seeds of Hope for underprivileged children throughout the city.

Mass of Resurrection will be held Saturday, December 15, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church-Highlands Ranch. A reception will follow the service at the church. Please leave your condolences for the family below.
