Raymond D. Herrera

Raymond D. Herrera, 78 of Aurora, Colorado, went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2015. He is originally from San Antonio, Texas. Went to public schools in San Antonio and graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 1955. A Memorial service will be held Monday December 21, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Hilario Fuentes, officiating. The Solist will be Chaplain Tom Simbo and Pianist Esther Fuentes. Mr. Herrera is preceded in death by his parents, Raymundo and Simona Herrera; brother Rosendo Herrera from California and younger brother Roy Herrera, who died in his youth. Survivors include his wife Irene, originally from San Antonio who resides in Aurora, Colorado; three daughters, Cindy Herrera of San Antonio, Texas, Liz Hoffman and Laurie (John) Herrera, both of Colorado; son, Eric Herrera of Colorado and six grandchildren all from Colorado; Sisters, Yolanda Chambers and Minerva (Celso) Chacon both of San Antonio and brother Rudy (Maryann) Herrera of El Paso, TX.
