Raymond E. Whisenand, 89 of Littleton passed away Saturday, May 10th at 12:45pm. He was born to Frank and Florence Whisenand in Chariton, Iowa on February 19, 1925. He graduated from Drake University with a degree in accounting and was a government auditor until he retired. Then he worked as a volunteer for Score for two years until his sight degenerated from macular degeneration in 1997. He loved to travel and made many trips home to Iowa to visit family and friends. Ray's top priority in life was his family. He took great enthusiasm in buying and selling houses with this daughter Maree and helped her with home repairs until he could no longer see. He loved Colorado and spent a lot of time in the mountains photographing family outings when he was younger. He was fond of good food and some of his favorites were one martini and a good steak, jumbo shrimp and Krispy Kreme donuts. As a young man, he collected rocks and built wooden furniture for his children for Christmas. He will be greatly missed. Ray was a 32nd Degree Mason.
