Rebecca Suzanne Furlong

Rebecca Suzanne Furlong, 51, left us on the morning of September 26th 2023. Her fight has ended and our hope is that her spirit has found peace and comfort and that she is organizing parties with loved ones until we join her again.

She leaves behind her beloved father James J. Furlong of Colorado Springs, her brother Michael M. Furlong of Colorado Springs and her sister Rachel A. McConville of Snohomish, Washington. She also leaves behind a myriad of her chosen family, made up of an incomparable network of friends and colleagues both near and far. We also feel it important to mention her beloved Tripp, handsomest dog in all of the land.

Those of us left behind were able to experience the gift of who she was and will be ever thankful and better for having been loved by her.

Rebecca was a driven, compassionate woman who always put others first. She took great pride in her personal and professional achievements and even greater pride in the achievements that she was able to help others attain. Throughout her life she always strived to grow and learn in every environment, her compassion drove her curiosity and her many talents pulled her through a life of constant motion and interactions.

Our hope as a family is that she is remembered for her loving and generous spirit; that each of the lives she touched takes a moment and find some inner peace, and that we remember to love others as we wish to be loved.

A Celebration of Life will be coming.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local pet rescue society or The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
