Rebecca Joyce Lilly

On November 29, 2017, Becca Lilly passed away peacefully due to complications from diabetes in her home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She was 43 years old. Becca was born on September 3, 1974 in Lemoore, California to Dr. J.K. Lilly and Mary Lee Dunn. Becca grew up in Charleston, West Virginia and graduated from George Washington High School and earned her nursing degree from the University of Charleston. In her adult life, Becca was a mother and a nurse. She took great pride in her work as a postpartum nurse at Littleton Adventist Hospital in the Denver Area for many years and also worked as a procedure facilitator at South Denver ObGyn. Becca adored her children more than anything in this world and cherished every moment she spent with them. She had a true love of nature including animals and took in strays often. She had a tremendous gift of sewing and created incredible quilts, clothing, towels and gifts. She loved to taste and cook all things adventurous and share dishes with those around her. She enjoyed many types of music and especially loved sharing her favorites with her children. Becca had a hilarious sense of humor and was quick to joke and laugh with anyone who was willing. She loved deeply and intensely and had countless friendships. She is fondly remembered for her warmth and kindness. Becca devoted much of her life to caring for others. Becca is survived by her son Caelum Witcher, daughter Taegan Witcher, sisters, Jessica Lilly and Dr. Sarah Husted, and parents. The family wishes to thank her friends for the outpouring of love following her death. We know she was loved by many. In remembrance of Becca, there will be services held in Denver and in Charleston. There will be a time for family to greet friends and guests at 3pm followed by a memorial at 4pm at Horan and McConaty, Centennial, Colorado on Sunday December 3, 2017. Additional visitation will be held at Snodgrass Funeral Home in South Charleston on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A service for family and friends will immediately follow.
