Regina McCulloh, 76, passed away on February 1, 2014. Born November 16, 1937, in Norfolk, Nebraska to James and Elizabeth Markey, she was the youngest of nine children. She moved to Denver at age 5, but returned to Nebraska to attend Notre Dame Boarding School in Omaha. She graduated from Loretto Heights College in 1959 with a degree in elementary education. Regina traveled the world as a teacher for the Department of Defense in the 1960s, living in Morocco, Germany and Japan. She met Doug in Japan in 1966, and they married in 1975. In 1976, Regina and Doug moved back to Denver where they raised their family. She is survived by her husband Douglas; daughters Ann McCulloh of Denver and Maureen (Paul) Schofield of Portland, Maine; grandchildren Penelope and Truman Schofield; sisters Rosalie Craig, Mary Mangus and Sr. Barbara Markey, brother James Markey and many nieces and nephews.
