Renee Lynn Woodruff-Krumpholz

March 10, 1968 — January 13, 2016

Renee Lynn Krumpholz of Denver, Colorado, beloved wife, mother, daughter, cousin, and friend left us unexpectedly on January 13, 2016 and entered into eternal life. She was born on March 10, 1968 in Denver, Colorado to John and Lana Woodruff, the eldest of two children. She attended St. Pius elementary and middle school in Aurora and graduated from Machebeuf Catholic High School in Denver in 1986. On June 22, 1991 Renee married Ken Krumpholz. Theirs was a storybook love affair. From the moment they first met their future was defined; that very evening Ken announced that he had met the woman he would marry. Their inseparable bond was magnified by the birth of each of their four beloved children: Riley, Logan, Tucker, and Chase. Renee's deep devotion to family and her entrepreneurial spirit were the impetus behind the inception of Flying Cricket Promotionals. Renee was the founder and owner of this family business that afforded her the opportunity to thrive as a business owner while remaining ever present for her family. From the moment her children were born, Renee was always resolute in her commitment to be actively involved in their lives. She was team manager, 13th player on the team, number one cheerleader, and most of all, loving mother to the whole team. Her active involvement included full support to all her boys at Thunder Academy Baseball, her kids swim teams as well as her sons' football leagues. Friends, family, and strangers alike naturally gravitated to Renee. Her vibrant smile and laugh were contagious. Her overt love of life, commitment to family and friends, and compassionate spirit were inspirational. But above all, she lived and breathed family. Renee was preceded in death by her loving father, John Woodruff Sr., Uncles Dave and Chuck Woodruff, maternal and paternal grandparents and treasured friend Steven Adams. Renee is survived by her husband Kenneth Krumpholz, her four children, Riley, Logan, Tucker, and Chase. Daughter in law, Brianna, granddaughters, Braylee and Remington. Her mother Lana, Brother John Jr., her mother and father in law Hart and Fran and many closely-held extended family members and friends. A vigil will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 W. 80th Avenue in Arvada from Five to Eight O'clock in the evening with a rosary at Seven O'clock in the Evening. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, January 23 at Holy Family Church on 44th and Tennyson in Denver, followed by a reception at Two O'clock in the Afternoon at Hyland Hills Golf Course and Club. Donations to support the family may be made to a fund created in her name on YOUCARING.com. Please share memories of Renee and condolences for her family by signing the guestbook below.
